Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in related Human Service field and at least five years experience working in the field of disabilities. Ability to communicate verbally and in written form effectively. Well developed interpersonal skills. Possess good judgment, problem solving, decision making and time management skills. Exhibit a caring and compassionate attitude while articulating true concern for people served through the administration of established systems and procedures in a person first environment.
Responsibilities include: Mentor and supervise assigned Support Coordinators, Supervisors, and Support Staff, including program support/clerical. Provide strong leadership and positive interactions to facilitate quality service provision and satisfaction to those served by Support Systems Inc. Oversee the operations and provision of all residential and vocational services provided in the Grand Forks region, including outlying areas. Assure compliance with all licensing and accreditation requirements. Manage and develop the performance of all assigned employees to retain a professional, motivated work force. Monitor personnel and fiscal resources of the Grand Forks region to ensure long term success and sustainability of those resources. Understand and efficiently oversee individual and regional budgets. Facilitate responsiveness to people served, employees and all stakeholders.
